Technical Training for UNICEF Mauritania

UNICEF Mauritania had found that their operations needed to focus on driver specific responsibilities. TGS Technical Training team visited UNICEF Mauritania for two weeks running two courses training a total of 15 participants.

The Drivers Competency Essentials was primarily delivered to their drivers but also to their Logisticians and Fleet Managers. They believed that all these responsible roles needed to participate to gain an understanding of the role and responsibility of a professional driver as an ambassador for their organisation.

The training courses comprised of the theories of the roles and responsibilities of a driver, safe recovery exercises, key 4x4 driving principles and preventive maintenance procedures. Both groups were assessed and evaluated according to our professionally accredited standards. It was evident with both groups that the participants were keen, engaged and had lots of enthusiasm to learn and develop.
