Training Review 2019

TGS continues to provide vehicle and fleet related training for customers in the humanitarian and aid community. Our customers continue to recognise the training investment for their fleet operations through theoretical and hands-on methods.

In 2019, the technical training team conducted 11 courses in 10 different locations, training 186 participants. This year TGS implemented the Safe Drive Certificate; a certified programme in partnership with Bioforce Institut. This course was designed to professionalise the required key competencies of a driver’s role and responsibility. The aim is therefore to certify drivers at a standardised level deemed as a professional qualification recognised within the humanitarian community, and delivering successful outcomes which encourages forward-thinking organisational success.
